The Manna Campaign
For forty years, God sustained His people with daily provision in the wilderness. The gift of manna was ordinary enough to be gathered each morning, yet powerful enough to sustain an entire generation.
Likewise, the future of Longhorns for Christ is built through the consistent generosity of faithful partners. Through The Manna Campaign, we are seeking 20 new supporters who will commit to providing steady monthly support that strengthens the ministry's foundation and prepares us for future growth.
Many LFC alumni can look back and recognize moments when God provided exactly what they needed through Longhorns for Christ: a friendship, a mentor, a meaningful moment in a Life Group, a challenge to grow, or a deeper understanding of God's calling.
Just as God provided manna for His people in the wilderness, The Manna Campaign invites us to become part of God's provision for today's students. Together, we can help ensure that future students experience the same life-changing community and spiritual formation that shaped so many of us.
What you are supporting
When Longhorns for Christ transformed to an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2023, it became more reliant than ever before on the individuals, alumni, churches, and organizations that believe in the mission of transforming college students with the hope of Jesus Christ.
STAFF
Longhorns for Christ has continued to grow. This growth has also resulted in an expanding staff, including interns learning ministry and full time and part time ministers. The Manna Campaign will help LFC continue to support the staffing necessary for pastoral leadership, administration, organizational needs, and ministry training.
OUTREACH
Longhorns for Christ works tirelessly to connect with students across the UT campus and in Austin. Large events like Welcome Week, Retreats, Pack the Plaza Jester Dorm dorm outreach, Port-A Getaway and more require significant resources.
CAMPUS CENTER
LFC operates one of the premier student ministry centers in the nation, and its effect on building daily community, facilitating gatherings, and providing presence on campus at UT is profound. As a dedicated "third place" that is open every day 6am until midnight, the campus center is an incredible tool of ministry.
STUDENT SUPPPORT
The needs of students are vast. From mental health support, spiritual guidance, physical needs, and even food assistance, LFC is always helping provide for students and young adults of all walks of life who are experiencing need.
MISSIONS
LFC sends students around the world every year to locations such as Brazil, Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Cambodia, and more. Your support helps make these life-changing and eternity-impacting experiences happen.
